About us

Hey everyone, firstly we'd like to welcome you to our site 'On the Roam'. 

We're Sam and Vickii, two adventurous people who love to discover and explore new places, close to home and around the world. We have visited several countries together mainly in Europe and places in our home country of England. We are currently planning the trip of a life time but more details to follow on that at a later date.

One of our favourite things to do when travelling or visiting a new city is to eat and drink. It's one of the most important things to us when planning a trip. The first question you will hear come out of one of our mouths is "where are we eating?!". We'e found some absolutely amazing places to eat whilst exploring and we'd love to be able to share some of those with you.  One of our personal favourites is War Pigs in Copenhagen, not only because we are both huge metal fans - the Black Sabbath fans out there will get the reference - but because the restaurant/pub serves some of the best BBQ and craft beer either of us have ever had! Let's save that for a post of its own which it rightly deserves.
